He has an upside-down triangle-shaped nasal cavity covered by a pointed upper nasal bone, giving the hole a pointed, heart-shaped appearance when viewed head on. The skull itself is entirely stationary, save for his brow ridges, which can change position with his expression like normal brows. After flying for hours, Lilith suggests that they return home, as they have indulged King enough, only for them to discover an uncharted island hidden in a fog, much to their shock. According to King, it was where his castle is, and where Eda found him. At the door, King tries to find an alternate entrance, while Lilltih discovers a strange symbol on it, which also predates any language she knows. Luz discovers a blocked up hole in the roof, which King can't remember where it leads to, although he did remember hearing a roar.
Learning of Eda's curse
However, Luz cheers him up, saying he will always be the king of her heart and puts him to bed. She then joins Eda and Lilith in the living room, who are pondering over what they discovered in the tower. Roughly 8 years before the events of the series, King would finally hatch from his egg and would be looked after by one of the golems Jean-Luc. Sometime later, a younger Eda would arrive on the island, seeking shelter from both the boiling rain and Emperor's Coven.
Storyline
Eight years ago prior to season two, she was looking for a place to hide from the Emperor's coven. She found an uncharted island and headed to a tower to get out of the boiling rain. Eight years prior to the start of the series, Eda found King on an unknown island while running from the Emperor's Coven. As Jean-Luc started attacking them, Eda picked up King and fled, and took him home later. She called him a king after seeing him build a series of small statues out of pillows and stuffed animals.
Season Three
Lilith, Hooty, Katya, and Derwin are also restrained; Hooty is trapped in a glowing orb. Eda tries to tell Terra she’s making a huge mistake, but the Coven Head ignores her warning, saying that the only mistake she made was letting Eda and Raine live when they were younger. Raine is then set in their place as the Draining Spell finally commences, much to their dismay. Meanwhile, every witch on the Boiling Isles, dressed in cloaks, approaches the head of the Titan for the Day of Unity.

One day, as Hooty is defending the house from coven scouts, Eda is making Luz a cloak of witch's wool when her curse acts up, with King and Luz needing to use multiple elixirs to get her back to normal. While Luz is on a field trip to the Emperor's Castle, Eda desires to celebrate Luz's success and King bakes a cake. After Eda learns that her sister had Luz, she leaves and he and Hooty decorate the Owl House. When Luz returns without Eda, King and Hooty comfort her as she explains what happened. At a book fair, Luz gets an idea to write a book and King agrees to help her. King presents the manuscript to Piniet, a literary agent, picks up the book, Ruler's Reach, and has him sign a contract.

Because of this, his stories tend to serve mostly as the B plot to episodes. At one point, he begins to take his time with Luz very seriously, to the point that he considers himself a secondary teacher to Luz besides Eda. He also slowly becomes more affectionate and humble as time goes on, most likely due to the influence of Luz and her happy demeanor. This comes to a point where he felt threatened by the appearance of Willow Park and Gus Porter, but he soon learns to treat them like friends as well. King Clawthorne is one of the deuteragonists of the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House.

Meanwhile, Eda strolls the fair and spots her sister, Lilith, and a coven scout named Steve buying a map leading to a flower known as the Bloom of Eternal Youth to find and then give to the Emperor. Eda, searching for youth to hopefully reverse her curse, buys a map as well to find the flower herself. Millions of years before the start of the series, King was born as the youngest son of the Titan along with thousands of other siblings. However, at the time the titans were embroiled in a war with the Collectors, who had massacred almost all of them including King's siblings. Fearing of his son's safety, the Titan would hide the infant King on an isolated island inside a castle filled with protection runes, as well as multiple golems.
Wing It Like Witches
King tells Luz he is glad he had her as a big sister before launching them into the portal and the Human Realm with his sonic scream. However, the door finally closes, leaving the group trapped helplessly in the Human Realm as Gus begins crying. As Luz continues typing away her own passage, she's invited by King to go to a "Meet the Author" event where he'll meet up with his fans. Despite being originally reluctant, Luz decides to go to the event to (hopefully) reconcile with King and mend the issue. Before Luz arrives at the event, King is chatting with his fans as Piniet sits alongside him. Piniet then pulls King aside and asks to speak about when his next book will be getting released.

King even convinces Eda that Lilith had changed for the better and that she was willingly giving up her place in the coven to help her. After Luz frees Eda and Lilith splits the curse between her and her sister, King once again shows his support for her friends. As the fight goes on, King runs into Kikimora, who has just been discarded by Belos.
His fur becomes much longer and spikier, especially around his neck and chest. He has slightly purplish dark gray fur, save for his stomach and the tip of his tail, which are mauve in color. He has short limbs, a round body and stomach, and a bushy, fox like tail. Each of his hands possess two triangular, bone-like claws with flat inner sides, acting as his fingers, as well as short, pointed thumbs.
King encourages Eda to just swipe the elixir and Tibbles catches them and reveals he has already called the Emperor's Coven on her. However, the Owl House, which has been animated by the Moonlight Conjuring, crushes the stand and Eda takes the elixirs before leaving. King and Eda arrive to find the house back in place but a mess and—as Luz, Gus, and Willow clean up—he and Eda are amazed that the teenagers brought the Owl House to life. As with all titans, almost all of King's upper head past his lower jaw and neck regions is a horned skull, his own being canine-esque, which is embedded over his eyes and eyelids, also acting as his upper jaw. His horns are tall and point backward, curving slightly inward, the left of which is broken off near the base in a notch shape. The muzzle of his skull has two large, outward-pointing canine teeth, and he has two molars on either side near the base of it.
